TAUNTON _ On Tuesday, January 12, Greater Boston Urology (GBU) physician Dr. Natalya Lopushnyan will host a free seminar highlighting two important men’s health issues: erectile dysfunction (ED) and male stress urinary incontinence (SUI). The event will be held at 6 p.m. in the Taunton Public Library Meeting Room, 12 Pleasant Street. Spouses and partners are also welcome to attend.

According to the Urology Care Foundation, ED affects as many as 30 million men while an estimated 20 percent of men experience some type of incontinence. Both conditions can have a profound effect on individuals’ quality-of-life, cause strain on relationships, and restrict daily activities.

“There have been many advancements in the way healthcare providers treat these two common conditions. By educating our patients and the community on available treatment options, those who suffer from ED and incontinence can make informed decisions to improve their symptoms,” said Lopushnyan.

This event follows a December program presented by Dr. Lopushnyan to provide diabetic men and their spouses with additional resources on erectile dysfunction. Continuing its commitment to raising awareness of urological health issues, GBU has partnered with American Medical Systems Inc., who will be sponsoring the event and providing the accompanying educational materials for participants.

Event registration will begin at 5:45 p.m. Those interested in attending are welcome to reserve seating by calling 1-877-433-2873. Light refreshments will be served.
