About Dr. Liu
Dr. Liu is a board-certified urologist specializing in all aspects of general urology, with particular interests in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), minimally invasive management of kidney stones, and urologic cancers, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency, urology residency, and chief residency in urology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Prior to joining GBU, Dr. Liu served as a staff urologist at Framingham Union Hospital, Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, and Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Urology, the Canadian Journal of Urology, the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the Journal of Endourology. He has also delivered invited lectures on topics such as PSA screening for prostate cancer and the contemporary management of small renal masses at MetroWest Medical Center.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Liu enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family in his free time.
