Men's Health Week is a great time for guys (and those who love them) to reflect on their health needs and to take ACTION!
If you're a guy and you've been putting off having your doctor check some nagging symptoms or maybe you've postponed a regular checkup or elective procedure due to the pandemic, now is a GREAT time to reschedule those appointments.
Appointments with Greater Boston Urology
If you're currently a Greater Boston Urology patient, you can see your urologist in-person or via telemedicine. You and your doctor will determine if telemedicine makes sense; depending on what's going on, an in-person visit might be necessary.
If you need a urologist and you're in Massachusetts, you're in luck: our physicians are seeking new patients, and we have nine convenient Care Centers to choose from, including three on the Cape, including our newest Care Center in Hyannis).
In addition, we offer urogynecology for women in our Dedham Care Center as well as pelvic floor physical therapy for women AND men. That last part is unusual: not many pelvic floor PTs in the area treat men. Alicia Jeffrey-Thomas is our wonderful physical therapist and is great at making all her patients feel relaxed. You'll be amazed how pelvic floor physical therapy can improve certain bladder and bowel issues, such as incontinence, overactive bladder, constipation, and IBS (just to name a few). And it's non-invasive! So a total win. Learn more about pelvic floor physical therapy here.
