BOTOX® for Overactive Bladder

When your bladder calls the shots, it’s time for better answers

Overactive bladder isn’t just inconvenient—it’s exhausting. With today’s advanced therapies and a customized care plan, relief is possible, and Botox® just may be your answer.

How it works

BOTOX® is a prescription medicine that is injected into the bladder muscle to temporarily relax the muscle and help decrease OAB symptoms. It is approved to treat overactive bladder symptoms in adults 18 years and older after you have failed lifestyle changes and medicines. This allows the bladder to hold more urine and reduces the frequency and urgency of urination. Botox injections are a simple office-based procedure that typically lasts for 6 months and repeated as necessary.

Hear from a real BOTOX® patient

This is Deanna’s story about how several different OAB pills and other didn’t work well for her.

When her doctor brought up Botox, she didn’t know that it was a treatment for OAB. Within weeks of her first treatment, Botox  helped her reduce her daily leaks.
